Selection

Question

Hi

I'm working with silverlight viewer, I created a map divided in regions. It has a polygon layer that represent parcels. My question is, is there any way that persons from one region, for example San Juan, just can select parcels from his own region? disable the selection tool or something if they want to select any parcel from other region or maybe I have to do one map for each region.

Hi Diego,

No, this functionality is not available out of the box. There might be several ways to achieve your goal, but it would likely involve creating separate applications for each region. One piece of functionality you may find useful is the Filter tool which allows you to display only the features that fit a certain criteria. See Filtering layers for more info.
