Creating a spatial join into a PG_ADMIN query layer

hi all,

Was wondering how to do a spatial join from an existing shapefiile into a PG_ADMIN query layer so that query layer can have all the spatial attributes associated with it. This would save me lots of time if i get this to work by not manually digitizing each individual feature (1000 of them). 

Can it be done?

You need to edit your question and provide more detail,show us some images of each dataset, you don't say what geometry type they are, coordinate systems (are they different?), size of datasets etc, examples of expected outputs...

Asking a can it be done question without detail is unlikely to attract any response.
