I created a map on Portal for ArcGIS and enabled it to work in offline mode, but whenever I try to download it, download fails. The error message is 'Invalid token used to access a secure service https://tiledbasemaps.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/World_Topo_Map/MapServer'. Where can I get a valid token?
I notice that this question is two years old, has anyone come up with an answer? I assume that we cannot download the map because Portal is on a secured network and therefor cannot access ESRI's online basemaps in an offline mode. Do we have to create our own basemap from scratch?
