Map Journal Navigate to Section not working

Question

I'm using Map Journal Builder and in the panel I have linked several "titles" to scroll to sections organized deeper in the panel. Instead of navigating to the linked section, most of these links will scroll to either the wrong section or scroll and land in between sections (see photo). I have over 50 sections, each with various levels of content and each with a single photo.  Is there a work around to resolve this issue?

Excellent! This appears to work.  I went on to change the Theme color to black because I was fond of the black default setting on the Floating Panel, and this looks good enough.

Hi Derica,

This is a known issue with Map Journals when using the Floating Panel layout for a map journal that contains many sections like yours. You may experience better performance if you switch to the Side Panel layout in your Story Map's settings.
