Exporting Hillshade Lake to Blender

Hello.  How can I export the hillshade layer on Agate Lake (please see the attachment) into Blender?  I tried exporting the hillshade agate lake as a shapefile then importing it into the Blender software.  Nothing showed up in Blender.  I already used "Int" and "raster to polygon" tools on the hillshade agate lake layer.  Do you know of another way to export this into Blender--what I see on GIS is exactly what I want for the 3D printer.  Thanks

Most of the links about blender are 2 to 7 years old, although there has been some recentish material with the last 2 years relating to City Engine
