Question

Can you use the new add data widget to browse to a file to upload a CSV or do you have to provide a URL?

No I have not. Actually I rarely use shapefiles no a days, since map packages are the more modern standard for exchanging data and map as one file.

Hi Robert, now that the AddData widget at 2.3 allows adding from file, have you had a chance or the curiosity to see if the number of records in a zipped shapefile can be increased? Currently the limit is set to 1000, which sounds familiar, but I haven't been able to detect if that can be changed-
