What would cause the print widget to exclude certain layers

I have a semi-operational print widget in a test application. However, the "printout" prints only some layers and excludes others with seemingly no rhyme or reason. Has anyone else run into this issue?

I've solved this: It appears the widget didn't like my layer groups and I had to explicitly tell it to display each layer within the group in order to get the layers to print, even though they were already displayed correctly in the map.
