Layer order changing on a map request

Hi folks,

Does anyone know if it´s possible to request maps from ArcGIS Server interface with layer order, or symbology, or definition query changing?  Or, does anyone knows for shure if layer order, symbology, and definition query once defined at the published MXD cannot be changed by map requests?

Note that I need to change the layer order within a map service, not to change the maps services order on a web application.   I know is possible to change symbolgy, create queries, customizing layers order, and present the result  as Graphics Layers, or even Feature Layers.  But, does it´s possible to do as well on maps requests?

I´m currently use the Flex API, requesting maps from the ArcGIS Server REST interface.  Is there a solution using this particularly platform? Or using any other?

Of these three, "layer order, or symbology, or definition query changing", only changing the layer definition is supported.

You could possibly workaround layer order issues by using multiple ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayers and controlling the visibleLayers in each one.
