I am currently using ArcGIS 10 with Service pack 1 installed. I have an Erdas IMG file that is Very large it is 1band and a 1bit raster. When i zoom in to anything below 1:8000 the image dissappears. once I zoom out beyond 1:8000 i can see the image. I have tried recalculationg stats and building pyramids in erdas and even improting the file into a geodatabase in arc. None of these things worked. Everything worked fine with this fill in ArcGIS 9.3.1. Does anyone have any suggestions
Have you renamed the rasters using ArcGIS 10? If so, in Windows Explorer do the img's have an associated ige file?
I am having a similar problem with .tif files that have NOT been renamed. My files are scanned historic aerials that are over 80mb. I have close to 30 files that I am georefernecing to create simple maps. Any suggestions?
