Export PDF Question ?

Question

I am trying to understand HOW does export to PDF works with or without an imagery. Export to PDF has a several options to choice from the list under the Image Compression. What is the best method to use to open the PDF quickest way to view ?  Here is shapshot of the video I capture and see if you can view it.

My computer has an Adobe Acrobat XI V 11.0.17 and it is Adobe Arocbat Pro.

When you print it, does it print  exactly as PNG ?

I don't use pdf as output for an onscreen image... I use png  small size, loads faster than an equivalent resolution.  Is there a reason you need pdf? like is it for output or for onscreen
