Reuse license for development ArcGIS Enterprise?

Hi all,

Has anybody had sucess creating a dev ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1?

I learned that I can use the same authorization# used in Enterprise Geodatabase and production ArcGIS Enterprise, but feeling hesitant something will break.

Looking for reassurance.
