Hello YPN Community! 👋

I’m Rachael Andy, an MSc student and passionate GIS professional-in-the-making. My journey in GIS revolves around turning data into meaningful insights that can improve real-world decision-making.

Some of my recent and ongoing projects include:

• Population Distribution Mapping across Nigeria, highlighting urban and rural population trends
• Land Use / Land Cover Analysis in Nasarawa State, examining spatial patterns and urban expansion (currently in progress)
• Healthcare Accessibility Analysis in Lafia, Nasarawa State. Identifying underserved communities and visualizing service areas

I love network analysis, spatial analytics, and data visualization, and I’m eager to use these skills to create impactful geospatial solutions.

Joining YPN is an exciting step for me to connect with like-minded professionals, share projects, and learn from experts in the field. I’m also keen to contribute as a Content Ambassador, sharing tutorials, tips, and insights to help grow the community.

Outside GIS, I enjoy creating educational GIS content on YouTube, combining learning with storytelling.
