Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Hi @dsinha , can you also include a screenshot of the RFT input panel with all your input parameters/settings before you hit run?
@RWaterman I get that error message when I try to add the RFT to the map. The Map Viewer interface looks different for me than it does on the tutorial, so not sure if I am doing something wrong.
I see. As noted in the tutorial, you will need to add the RFT from within the analysis tools (you are trying to add via the "Processing Templates"). See the graphic below from the blog article, which notes selecting the "Analysis" option as step 4.1. From there you will navigate to the Raster Function Templates Option and add the RFT.
The AGOL analysis panel looks different from the one shown in the tutorial. Not sure why - I thought AGOL was same for all.
The Processing Template does not appear in the Analysis panel but on the side panel.
It seems you may not have the appropriate permissions to perform raster analysis in ArcGIS Online. The first section of the tutorial is system requirements. The second bullet pertains to individual user permissions. The third pertains to enablement of "imagery layers optimized for analysis" which enables scaled raster analysis against designated Living Atlas imagery layers. Both will require you to check with your system admin for appropriate permissions/enablement.

Ok, good idea to follow up with tech support. Hopefully they are able to sort it out. Please post back here and let us know.
@RWaterman it turns out that the Creator license I have is inadequate for running the analysis. I had wrongly assumed that Creator is above Professional. Thanks for all your help.
@RWaterman, when running the analysis with a Professional license, we received this error at this step: RA_120306: Cause of failure: Cannot process above the size limits of the image service: 'LandsatC2L2'
We received this error with the Monterrey ROI and our own ROI, which has a much smaller area than the Monterrey ROI. Any suggestions?
I'm having the same issue (or similar) when trying to run this process, and I do have the Professional Plus license. The error message I get is:
RA_120306: Cause of failure: Cannot process above the size limits of the image service: 'LandsatC2L2'. The allowed maximum number of rows and columns is 4000 and 4000 respectively. Please adjust the output extent and/or cellsize to fit within the limits.
I regularly get an error like this when I try to work with rasters in AGOL. Any ideas on why this is? Any ideas for a fix? Even when I reduce the area of interest significantly (to only several rows and columns), I still get this error.
I notice when I click Estimate Credits before running this process, it says 1.47. Could it be an issue that I don't have the required credits as part of my organizational license?
thanks!
