Is LRS time dependent on GDB_FROM_DATE and other archive columns?

Our network and events records a have both  FROM_DATE, TO_DATE columns, editor tracking, as well as the GDB branch version archive columns that were added at ArcPro  such as GDB_FROM_DATE, etc.   

When a client application or user makes us of temporal LRS functions, for example performing  a geometry to measure with temporalViewDate in the past,  what columns are used?  Or export network with lastLrsTime? 

If we prune branch history, do we loose LRS history?

@AlisonWieckowicz Great questions and I am glad you are thinking through this.

Note that there are 2 technical concepts in play:

• Branch Versioning (more fundamental geodatabase concept)
• ArcGIS Roads and Highways
  • Time Awareness: FROMDATE/ TODATE fields (R&H specific and applies to Routes and Events only)

Client app like ArcGIS Pro is branch version aware and automatically shows the data for the user version (default or edit). This happens at a more fundamental level - irrespective of LRS.

All LRS functionality, uses FROMDATE/ TODATE fields for time awareness.
