Option to make layer groups in layer list collapsed by default

Hi there,

We are looking for a way to make our layer groups in our layer list collapsed by default for a better/cleaner user experience.

Even when we collapse them on the source web map, they always seem to be expanded by default in the Field Maps app (see screenshots attached).

Thanks @ToddW_stl for looking into this and trying to find a workaround

after some brief testing, it looks like they will only be collapsed by default if you turn the group layer's visibility off. I tried adding the "isExpanded" property set to false in the web map JSON, but that didn't work.
