Instant Apps is opening the template not my map I configured

Question

HI,

Configured a Instant App in ArcOnline, but when I open it either in contents or under My Apps in Instant App , it is the template, not my map. The map has the correct name I gave it, but none of the content I configured, only the temple shows.

I went through the steps Esri Tech support has posted at https://support.esri.com/en-us/knowledge-base/arcgis-instant-apps-display-their-template-when-launche-000031161#:~:text=The%20cause%20of%20this%20issue,with%20your%20app's%20item%20ID.

but it does not work. I copied the URL and it was the same. In the tech support, the workaround is to copy the URL from the app configuration page and past it in the details page under settings. However, they are both the same URL.

Yes, I exhausted that avenue. I have since resolved the issue. Apparently, you need to " publish" for it to save " your " map. It's all good now, but was puzzled due to the lack a "save" button to click.

On the app's item page if you look at the url does it have an appid appended?
