Output Coordinate same as the DEM in the model

Hi,

I would like to know more about output coordinate system. What does that mean setting output coordinate system same as DEM layer. My understanding that by doing this a spatial reference is assigned to the output data. Is this all? What is/are the actual purpose/purposes of this?

Have you actually read the help file? It tells you exactly what would happen if you set the Output Coordinate system? Usage notes are quite clear if the Output Coordinate system is different to the input then the output is projected.
