Detach a Data Store connection stored in DynamoDb

Question

We have an orphaned Data Store connection in our ArcGIS Server. I've been looking at this ESRI Support article, however, our config store is managed in AWS DynamoDB. I have identified that orphaned Data Store "item" in my DynamoDB table. Does anyone know if it is safe to just delete that item?

Well, stopping the ArcGIS Server service, "carefully" deleting the orphaned data store remnants from the config store managed in AWS DynamoDB, then restarting the ArcGIS Service appeared to work. On to the next challenge...
