Interior grid Labeling issue

Question

I am currently trying to apply lat long grid labels to a map. But the interior labeling is giving me a hard time, it is only labeling the longitude line not any of the latitude lines. Any ideas?

I'm using north America lambert conformal conic projection

NAD 1983 datum.

Can you share what settings you are using for your interior labels? There are 3 different positioning settings, changing one of those might make a difference.

Also, your gird is pretty tight, there might not be enough space for the latitude labels to display. The grids won't display partial labels, if there isn't enough space the label is dropped. If you increase the grid line interval or decrease the size of the label that might fix the problem as well.
