Hello,
I have a field map project that has been used offline for over a year. Now I checked it and notice this error message. Can someone explain what it means and what I should do?
Thank you in advance for your help!
Are all your layers still in the same projection and same projection as the basemap?
Do you have Global IDs, one layer is editable, sync enabled?
Have you tried to rebuild the spatial indexes?
Do the field indexes still exist?
@DanielFox1 I was able to remove the index in ArcGIS Pro, but now no new offline areas are packaging even though the error messages are not present.
@LayerItOn
When you saw these indexes locked is this before or after any new offline areas where created?
If you have existing areas can you sync them and remove them then try delete the indexes or temporarily remove the layer from the search widget in your experience builder and see if this unlocks them.
Hi @LouiseHarris1! I called esri support and found a work around!
This is what worked for me:
Hello @DanielFox1 and @LauraBedoyan,
I have removed all the indexes that have a hyphen, except two that are locked.
Is there a way to unlock these two so that I can remove them? I think it is the same issue that @LouiseHarris1 is experiencing.
For the other layer that is also experiencing this error:
Thank you for responding! It does look like I have some hyphens in my indexs.
Thank you for the settings recommendation above. It fixed the yellow error about true curve updates!
Hello @LauraBedoyan, thank you for your response! I was on leave so I apologize for the delayed response.
My field indexes:
Hi. I am experiencing the same error message and I can see there are two field indexes in the format (exb-<string>) and despite clicking on the delete button and clicking ok it doesn't delete them. Any ideas how I can resolve this as it's preventing users taking maps offline with the problem layer in. I was able to delete field indexes before the update.
I have also tried using the Remove Attribute Index tool in ArcPro and this also failed and threw up this error; 'ERROR 160203: Failed to load a resource (string, icon, bitmap, etc)Failed to execute (RemoveIndex)'.
In addition to the post above, do you see any field index records that contain a hyphen for example (exb-<string>)
These are mostly likely causing the error and can be removed from the location pointed to above.
The other warning message above ensure that the following settings are selected in the settings of the appropriate layer and this should remove the amber warning
After that, could you provide me with the details of your field indices? Everything in the green box like in the image above?
