Has anyone successfully exported their database to excel to edit metadata? Hoping to share an excel with multiple departments to fill in so they don't need access to the database directly.
I tried that and it is not really what I'm looking for.
You can export metadata, but it will be to XML format. You access the export tool from Catalog View > Manage tab.
You can then open the XML directly in Excel, but not sure what value that is as you take what is inherently displayed as a document and force it into a tabular view?
