Disable Edit widget if public access

Question

Hello,

I've created an application (WAB) for internal departments and the public. Currently, anyone can access the application and edit the data. I'd like only internal departments to be able to edit the data.

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, I work with a feature layer and not with a hosted layer. Is there a solution for me?

@Rémi , you can once test this workflow and verify if this resolves the issue:

1- Disable editing on the layer and disable 'Public Data Collection':

2- Create a group with "Shared Update" capability enabled & add your organization members to the group.

3- Share the item publicly (web map, hosted layer & web app) and in this group.

The members of Shared Update group can edit the features.
