Is it possible to configure snapping in AreaMeasurement2D and DistanceMeasurement2D? I do not see any such configuration in api documentation. It seems to be rather common requirement so maybe there is some other tool I can use?

From checking the documentation for SnappingOptions it unfortunately does not seem possible to do this for AreaMeasurement2D and DistanceMeasurement2D. This would be a great suggestion to raise on the JavaScript Ideas page.
