以下はこのリリース版briefingsアプリ使用中に遭遇する可能性がある問題点と今後予定されている改善内容です。

既知の問題と制限事項

以下の問題は認識しており、今後のリリースで対応予定です。

iOS固有の問題

• 「すべてのBriefings」タブのみで未ダウンロードbriefingsにダウンロード済みアイコンが表示される場合があります。（バージョン1.0で修正）
• Briefingスライドタイトルと目次で一部特殊文字が正しくエンコードされない場合があります。（バージョン1.0で修正）
• リソースリンク横のビデオアイコンが欠落し空白として表示されることがあります。（バージョン1.1.3で修正）
• ロゴまたは画像ブロックに追加したGIF画像が静止画として表示されアニメーションしません。（バージョン1.3.5で修正）
• 埋め込みブロック内およびリソースリンク先PDFがスクロール不可です。（バージョン1.5.7で修正）
• 'My Downloads'タブに切り替えたことがない場合、briefingダウンロード中にカード表示がおかしくクリック不可になることがあります。 （バージョン1.5.7で修正）
• 新しいカバータイプにURL付きロゴを追加してもクリック反応しません。 （バージョン2.0.99で修正）
• 一部の場合、下へ引っ張って更新するとUIが正常に更新されないことがあります。 （バージョン2.0.99で修正）
• Face IDおよび位置情報許可メッセージが翻訳されていませんでした。 （バージョン2.1.29で修正）
• 特定の場合、ヘッダーのロゴや画像ブロック、Express Mapsポップアップ内に追加したGIF画像がアニメーションしません。
• 動画再生時にテーマ背景色が反映されません。
• 目次やマップポップアップ識別情報でテキストが一行表示後切り捨てられます。
• テキストブロックでは太字・斜体スタイルはまだサポートされていません。
• ダークテーマ使用時、最近使ったURL選択時に初回だけURLが暗く表示されます。
• 番号付きリストが10項目以上の場合、一桁番号項目前に余白ができ右寄せになります。
• 'Autoplay without controls' と 'Autoplay with controls and loop until stopped.' の動画再生オプションがExpress Maps機能情報内で期待通り動作しません。

Android固有の問題

• 'タブ切り替え時遅延やbriefingsなしの場合空白画面表示があります。この場合は下へ引っ張って更新してください。' '（バージョン1.0で修正）'
• 'マップツール配置ずれ問題' '（バージョン1.0で修正）'
• 'マップ検索バータップ時にBriefingsタブレットアプリがクラッシュします' '（バージョン1.0で修正）'

• Text shows single line and then truncates it on gallery card, table of contents and map pop-up identify (Fixed in ver. 1.3.5)
• The screen may flash initially in the briefing slide before an embedded resource loads (Fixed in ver. 1.4.6)
• Tint issue for legend button in maps and scenes. (Fixed in ver. 1.4.6)
• Video does not properly expand all the way to the bottom when Table of Contents is open. (Fixed in ver. 1.6.15)
• When web layers having embedded credentials are added in some IWA portal, the briefing shows Sign-in challenge. (Fixed in ver. 2.0.99)
• Table block does not resize correctly when screen orientation is rotated between Portrait & landscape orientations. (Fixed in ver. 2.0.99)
• In a donut chart, when no data label and values are configured, empty hooks appear alongside each donut slice. (Fixed in ver. 2.0.99)
• In certain cases, GIF images do not animate when added in the header as logo or in image blocks or in express maps pop-ups. 
• If the images have a focus configured which is different from the default, it does not show the focus.
• All the items inside the numbered list always pushed to right giving some space in front of the text regardless of number of items.
• In RTL, the text in the cover slide are not right aligned when opening a briefing. But it aligns fine if you switch device's orientation.

Windows specific

• There is UI sizing issue when windows screen is resized while inside briefing (Fixed in ver. 1.0)
• Identify pop-up window in swipe block for express maps does not display (Fixed in ver. 1.0)
• Some downloaded briefings show blank page on opening them and are not readable (Fixed in ver. 1.0)
• Offline to online behavior does not display correct toast message in some cases (Fixed in ver. 1.0)
• On clicking on My Briefings filter in disabled network, it shows offline empty state (Fixed in ver. 1.0)
• Swipe block may have issues in the swiping gesture (Fixed in ver. 1.0)
• Bold and color styling is not yet supported in text blocks (Fixed in ver. 1.1.3)
• The sign-in button does not respond after signing browser has been closed without logging into the app. It would require restarting the app (Fixed in ver. 1.1.3)
• Video glyph beside the link to resource is missing and shows as space (Fixed in ver. 1.1.3)
• Some special characters do not get encoded correctly in Briefing slide title and TOC (Fixed in ver. 1.1.3)
• Scrolling through gallery cards has shadow effect while refreshing the items. (Fixed in ver.1.3.5)
• Windows shows single line and then truncates the text on gallery card, TOC and map pop-up identify (Fixed in ver. 1.3.5)
• Windows always takes to cover page when minimizing and again maximizing the app.(Fixed in ver. 1.4.6)
• When focus is changed for any image or video thumbnail that is Filled, Windows does not honor the focus change (Fixed in ver. 1.4.6)
• There is UI issue with mouse wheel gestures while inside briefing. (Fixed in ver. 2.0.99)
• There are few UI issues when having Windows size resized and back to full screen size. (Fixed in ver. 2.0.99)
• “Replace media” option in editing mode for the full cover page of a local briefings on Windows (Fixed in 2.1.29)

• Code and 360 image are flipped in Briefing Native view for RTL languages. Fixed in 2.1.29)

• Location permission if denied on windows was not responding when tapped on location request within the Map (Fixed in 2.1.29)
• After installing the app on some non-English language/locale environments, it may fail to launch. In this case please install the VC++ redistribution package from https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe and then relaunch the app.   Alternatively, you can install the app on an English language/locale environment first and then switch to the non-English language and launch the app successfully. 
• Images in expanded view do not zoom in/out for non-touch devices only.
• In RTL, Details dialog is displayed at incorrect place when hovering over legend item of Donut Chart with long Title.

• In RTL, Some of the text on horizontal left and center does not honor correct font color on all briefing slides.

General 

• The continue button on the sign-in dialogue does not get highlighted, but it is fully operational (Fixed in ver. 1.0)
• Swipe blocks with maps are not yet supported (Fixed in ver. 1.0)
• Some icons that are dark by default are not tinting properly at times (Fixed in ver. 1.0)
• Some icons are not visible in the dark theme. Please use the light theme (Fixed in ver. 1.0)

• マップ/シーン上の現在地マーカーと検索結果ピンが、他のスライドに移動して戻っても消えない問題. （バージョン1.4.6で修正）
• オフラインブリーフィングのWebシーンでオフラインプレースホルダーではなく読み込みインジケーターが表示される。 （バージョン1.4.6で修正）
• 動画スライドから移動した際、Fit設定の画像の背景色が正しく表示されない問題。（バージョン1.4.6で修正）
• ダブルレイアウトスライド内で他のマップ/シーンですでに検索を使っている場合、エクスプレスマップの検索ピンが消えることがある。 （バージョン1.4.6で修正）
• ダブルレイアウトにマップを追加した際、スワイプブロックから移動すると範囲が同期してしまう問題。 （バージョン1.4.6で修正）
• スワイプブロックスライドから移動後、マップを展開して折りたたむとスライドビュー内のすべてのマップツールが消える。 （バージョン1.4.6で修正）
• スワイプブロックにマップが1つだけ追加されている場合、マップツールが表示されない。 （バージョン1.4.6で修正）
• エクスプレスマップのスワイプブロック内の凡例内容とマップツールが、そのスライドに直接移動すると空になる。.(バージョン1.4.6で修正)
• スワイプブロック内の画像がFillの場合、右側の画像がスライドビューで切り取られる。 （バージョン1.4.6で修正）
• リンク付き最後のスライドからナビゲートした際、ブリーフィングナビゲーションキーが正しく反応しない。.（バージョン1.4.6で修正）
• IWA、LDAP、PKIなどWebティア認証下のエクスプレスマップはオンラインブリーフィングでピクチャーマーカー画像を表示しない。 （バージョン1.5.7で修正）
• エクスプレスマップのポップアップ情報内のハイパーリンクが通常テキストとして表示される。 （バージョン1.5.7で修正）
• 画像ギャラリーは単一またはダブル(30%、50%、70%)レイアウトに関わらず最大4列までしか表示しない。 （バージョン1.5.7で修正）
• エクスプレスマップ内のビデオ情報付きフィーチャーをクリックしてもポップアップが表示されない。 （バージョン1.5.7で修正）
• 背景と帰属情報付きFit設定画像は、エクスプレスマップ内メディア情報付きフィーチャークリック時に反映されない。 （バージョン1.5.7で修正）
• 「Imagery (Hybrid)」ベースマップ使用時、エクスプレスマップブロックに重複した円形フィーチャーが表示される。（バージョン1.5.7で修正）
• エンタープライズアカウントではエクスプレスマップフィーチャーポップアップ内動画が再生されない。 （バージョン1.5.7で修正）
• 以前にマップブロックでポップアップを開き、その後スワイプブロックでもポップアップを開くと二重ポップアップが表示される。 （バージョン1.5.7で修正）
• 画像/動画なしフィーチャークリック時、帰属アイコンが残り他ポップアップと重なることがある。 （バージョン1.5.7で修正）
• エクスプレスマップ用スワイプブロック内動画ポップアップに再生コントロールが表示されない。 （バージョン1.5.7で修正）
• スワイプブロック左側画像の帰属リンククリック時に反応しない。 （バージョン1.5.7で修正）
• 30%タイム有効化マップのタイマーは展開モード再生後折りたたむと停止しない。. （バージョン1.5.7で修正）
• カバー画面に作者によるメディア追加なしの場合、空白に見える。 （バージョン1.5.7で修正）
• Web Map/Sceneブロック内任意箇所クリック後、フィーチャーポップアップ情報ボックスのフッターページ番号が欠落する。 （バージョン1.5.7で修正）

• On iOS and Android, Identify pop-up may look too narrow in slide view. (Fixed in ver. 1.6.15)
• Image added as a base layer in the Express map shows Canvas Light basemap. (Fixed in ver. 1.6.15)
• Video control always appears in Express Map feature pop-up information when the playback settings changed to autoplay. (Fixed in ver. 1.6.15)
• When bookmark panel is not closed in a map attachment link and if opened another map or scene, the same bookmark panel shows there. (Fixed in ver. 1.6.15)
• There may be some issues when expanding and collapsing some content types like maps and images in flexible layouts. (Fixed in ver. 1.10.3)
• Untitled Briefings do not show "Untitled Briefing" on the briefing header. (Fixed in ver. 2.0.99)
• On iOS and Windows, the initial extent for Mobile Scene Package (MSPK) shows wrong when navigating from MMPK to MSPK in a downloaded briefing. (Fixed in ver. 2.0.99)
• Table title & Heading (H3) text does not honor text colors. (Fixed in ver. 2.0.99)
• Clicking on "View Online version of a briefing" from the briefing header shows "Failed to load" modal when there is NO internet connection. (Fixed in ver. 2.0.99)
• Fixed 360° image authentication issues in Enterprise web tier(Fixed in 2.1.29)

•  Log timestamps are not localized on Diagnostic page (Fixed in 2.1.29)

• Logo size on cover page was not sizing correctly (Fixed in 2.1.29) 
•  Attribution icon is grey out and not clickable on cover image for Full cover (Fixed in 2.1.29)
• Group layers title is not displayed in Express Map legend.
• Sign-in may fail the first time when using Facebook.
• You may experience an inability to sign out when signed in with a Gmail or GitHub account.
• Briefings using Google Fonts show the Summit theme fonts as the default.
• Scene layers within a legend for web scenes are not supported.
• 3D basemaps are not supported for web scenes.
• GIF images may not be sized as expected when added as resource link from ArcGIS content.
• App crashes when having a Web Map with Teams Notes layer.
• Only the first image in the Web Map's description is displayed in the "Overview" panel of the Web Map.
• Only the first image in the feature information text is displayed when any feature is identified for Web Map or Web Scene.
• Some text styles shown in the Overview tab of the info. panel and in the feature pop-up information panel may not look as expected.
• There are some minor UI discrepancies for the charts when the chart/ axes titles are long.
• In Custom Themes, changes made in Colors, Typography, Logo and Basemap are currently supported in Briefings app. All other options use default styles in certain cases.
• When having multiple donut charts in the same slide, custom colors might not render correctly in certain cases.

• Deep Linking
• Universal StoryMaps experience for items other than Briefings (Beta) (2.2)
• Enhancements in UI for Phones(2.2)
• Search briefings on gallery page (2.2)

Hi,

I'd like to install the briefings app on my Android phone but I get a message that says "your device is not compatible with this version" . I'm running Android Version 13.  I did look for a system requirements page but failed to find it.  Do I need to be running Android 14?
