Worked for me.
@JenaHBG . I was not a member of the ESRI Community and it was grayed out. I had to sign up and verify my e-mail address by clicking the link the e-mail to complete the registration. The I refreshed my page and the button was not grayed out.
I missed the code used for the expression for "GetUser". Would someone mind posting it? Subscribe is greyed out above for me as well.

This is a good reference that someone else in the session Chat posted for Arcade expressions:

If you don't know what group your needed function is in, you are at a loss as I don't see a search function on the page. But if you go to the Playground tab in the upper right, you can use that search tool to help you find the expression name and the group that it belongs in.
GetUser is a portal function, for example. Scroll to that group in the above link and click on GetUser there to see the function description, uses and example code.

How do i turn off email notifications
Hi @TadhgKirwan , to unsubscribe from Community notification emails, go to your profile and choose Settings > Email > Unsubscribe from automated community emails.
Years ago I set up a GDB on a microsoft sql server via ArcMap and used it with Collector. Is there a resource for finding a workflow to do this for Field Maps via ArcGIS Pro? Unfortunately, trying to use the wizard via Portal doesn't work because of the way it was initially configured. I worked with ESRI support to try to rectify that but the conclusion was that without completely rebuilding the portal and data store there wasn't a way to make it functional.
@TadhgKirwan To change your email notifications, click your picture/profile in the upper right corner next to notifications bell. Select My Settings. Go to Subscriptions & Notifications, then Notification Settings. Scroll down to Email Notifications and choose what format you want for each option. Most range from Never to Weekly digest (and options in between).
@GraceRadabaugh This is the expression I used during the seminar:
GetUser($layer).fullName
You will find another example of it here Common Calculated Expressions, along with other expressions.
If you are signed-in and the subscribe button is greyed out, you probably need to verify your email address. When you set up your account, you should have received an email to verify. I had the Community team take a look and verify your account for you 😊

If you start configuring the form for an existing hosted feature layer, you will have the ability to add existing fields to the form as well as add additional/new fields to the form. It depends on what you mean by “edit” existing, you can add them to the form and set up their properties in the form. Screenshot below.
@JenaHBG , regarding your RSS feed post, the issue may be that you don't have an RSS feed reader extension installed on your browser. If you're using Chrome, there's one called RSS Feed Reader that you could install. Hope this helps, but if you do have an RSS feed reader and still cannot subscribe to this RSS feed, let us know and we'll have an Esri Community team member reach out to you.
