Change Validation Status field to 4 so batch rules run?

Can I manually set the validation status field so that my batch calculate attribute rules run? the data has changed but the rule has not, thus my validation status is 0 - no errors, validation not required. I need to be able to run these rules whenever because the data is changing, and the rules summarize the data.

Agreed. There should be functionality to manually update the Validation Status field. There are workflows that require calculation rules to be re-run, even if the input features did not receive edits since last evaluation.
