Does anyone know if there is a way to add click to restore the map extent and layers visibility to map pages in EB?
It's a great feature, but I can't seem to locate anyway to add it to a page.
Thanks!
Tom
yep its in the settings page as above - it works its nice thanks ESRI
This is supported in the AGOL June 2025 release. You can find the experience state option in Experience settings -> State & URL parameters.
I was told this would be available in the next update - last night, I don't see it?
With the URL parameters provided, you can now use the General setting and choose to share the map's extent & center & scale, or viewpoint:
Any update?
What's to eval, if you had it on webapp builder it should be an option on EB as well. Does eval mean you are figuring out how to do it? Because evaluate is a very ambiguous term. In the meantime I have been telling people to bookmark, but that get's a bit cumbersome with respect to time.
any progress on this - something I use on my previous webapp builder sites, I have hundreds of users who use maps with lots of layers, being able to restore layers is more important to me than zooming to the extent
If there was a way to configure an added button widget, this would work. Even if the button stayed on all the time if you could get it to remember the previous view on a refresh that would be great!
Similar to https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-experience-builder-questions/how-to-restore-extent-of-your-previous-session/m-p/1276125#M6644. We are evaluating this.
