Hosted feature service vulnerability? Enterprise 10.9.1

Hello,

 

I have a hosted feature service in arcgis enterprise 10.9.1, this hosted feature service do not have activated the edit option in portal.

When I open arcgis pro and connect to my portal and i select that hosted feature services with no edit option activated, i am able to edit this service from pro, arcgis pro do not respect edit privileges set off.

 

Is this expected behavior or is this a massive error that my data is not secured from other users that can see my data?

If you are logged in to Pro with the named user that is the owner of that hosted feature layer this is expected behavior. The owner of a hosted feature layer can always edit it.
