QuickCapture Project - won't save input variable for fields

Hi there,

I have created a feature layer in ArcGIS online and am now trying to change field inputs from e.g. "fixed" value to "button user input", however when I press save it won't save the changes.

I am new to ArcGIS and might have missed something. I am following this guide:https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/mapping/get-started-quickcapture/#online and this one https://doc.arcgis.com/en/quickcapture/help/editproject.htm. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @TamaraKartal From the field's drop-down menu, you will select the 'Button user input' option and create a button user input variable first, and then assign it to that text field.
