Layer list widget - search

Question

Hello,

We use a webmap at work which has a host of different layers on a webmap. It is a pain to hunt through all of these layers/ groups to find the relevant layers. On the ArcGIS documentation it says it is possible to implement a search function within the layer list widget - Layer List widget—ArcGIS Web AppBuilder | Documentation

We cannot see a search function in our widget, is there a way to enable this?

I also noticed the documentation is incorrect and is showing an image of the old version of the widget without the Search icon.

This was a recent addition to the Layer List widget. It didn't appear in v2.19, but is in v2.21. I don't have the Developer Edition of 2.20 downloaded, so I can't tell whether it was in that one. Here's how it looks in the current version:

Is your web app build in Portal? That's still at 2.19, which may be why you don't have the search option.
