Set default language web app

How does one toggle a survey's default language in the web app? 

Most of my respondents will be Dutch. Because a small but significant number will be international I have also added a set of English-language questions. As such, I want the web app survey to open in Dutch, with internationals having the option to change this to English if they'd so prefer. 

However, when I open the survey in the web app, the language always defaults to English. Note that I have set the "default_language"-field to "Dutch (nl)". This causes the connect app to set Dutch as default. However, the web app (which is what my respondents will be using) remains English first. How do I change this?

Hi, the Survey123 web app should automatically match the language of the survey to the language of your computer or mobile device. If you see your form loading in English, I can only guess that your computer is configured with English language. If this it not the case, then we should look at the XLSForm to make sure it is authored correctly.

You can force the form to use a particular language using the lang parameter in your URL. See details at:
