Hello,
I need to select all the points (SampleID) outside of a few polygons (excavation areas) and I'm having trouble figuring out how to do so. I have looked at "Selection by Location" but I only have options that allow me to select the points within the polygons. Is there a way to do the opposite. I would like to then export the data points and run some site models.

"Invert spatial relationship" effectively selects "points NOT within polygons". Try that and see if you get what you're looking for.
Well that's a little embarrassing. Thank you so much. I cant believe I didn't notice that option.
