Print to published custom layouts from print service using Pro instead of a web application.

I've created a custom print service for printing webmaps following the guidance in thelink below.  It works great.  My question is: Can my users use those same layouts in Pro via the service?  I want to print maps from Pro to that service instead of sharing layout files on the network and importing them with Pro.
