It would be nice to add World Imagery image source date now available in Pro 2.6 using the identify tool (SRC_DATE2 in the identify popup) to dynamic text in a map series. I'm hoping to have the image date(s) on a spatial map series layout.
Is there a way to add the date of acquisition for the World Imagery basemap in the corner of a layout? Maps I make are typically on a small city scale so the date of acquisition would largely remain the same for one map.
I saw this post about getting the date manually but I am interested in text that dynamically updates depending on which city I am zoomed in on.
This would be very helpful for us as well. When making several maps\layouts covering a large area the date of the imagery changes and would be great it could be connected to the date on the imagery and refresh as the scale\zoom changes
