Can Symbology in one Map Automatically Display in Other Maps & Layouts (in the same Pro Project)?

Question

I have multiple Layouts and Map tabs in a single Pro Project.  It appears that the default setting of Pro is such that settings pertaining to Symbology (colors, line thickness, etc.) in one Map tab - do NOT change those same settings (re display) in other Map tabs.  I'm whishing it would.  Is there a way that Settings can be changed, so that Symbology changes in one WILL affect/change Symbology in the other Map tabs?

I will be profoundly grateful if there's a way to do this.

If it’s the same map opened in two views (for example, View 1 and View 2 of Map) - yes—symbology is shared, so a change in one view updates the other automatically.

If it’s the same data/layer added to two different maps (for example, Map A and Map B) - no—there’s no built-in “synchronize symbology across maps” setting. Each map has its own layer properties.

Alternatives to keep them consistent across different maps

* Copy/Paste layer properties (Symbology, Labeling, etc.) between layers, even between maps: Copy and paste properties between layers or tables—ArcGIS Pro
* Use Apply Symbology From Layer / import symbology: Import symbology from another layer—ArcGIS Pro

In one aprx, if multiple layouts are referencing the same map frame, a change in the map's data symbology should be reflected across the layouts that reference the inserted map frame.

*What version of Pro are you using?
