Automatically toggle between Preview and contents in Catalogue

Automatically switch between Preview and contents tabs in Arc Catalogue.
Dont bring up a display that says "your selection cannot be previewed" - just tab automatically to contents window.
If I click on an item in the TOC tree view I dont want to see a giant icon - go straight to the preview window.
