Clear Search: ArcGIS Online

There is no way to clear the search in the AGOL Search bar without reloading the page. I would like a clear search option.

Hello,

Would you mind sharing specifically where you are not able to clear the search bar? Also which browser are you using?

I am able to see a 'X' to clear the search bar in Chrome in both the Web Map Viewer and the ArcGIS.com search:

Yes, it is possible to clear the contents of the actual text box, but that does not reset the entire results page. I would like to be able to clear the search keyword and the search results. Also, a way to view previous results.
