Le widget actuel Grid Overlay vous permet de rendre rapidement un MGRS (US National Grid) en utilisant des ressources côté client dans une application web, cependant il nécessite un développeur capable d'héberger lui-même l'application. L'US National Grid est un composant nécessaire aux applications de réponse aux catastrophes et de sécurité publique et doit être déployé rapidement et efficacement. Not having the ability for users to enter and locate and enter MGRS / USNG coordinates severely handicaps SAR missions and responding to real world emergencies.
Just having an overlay of the grid is somewhat helpful but a widget that actually locates the coordinates and or converts them back and forth is very essential to disaster response and emergency management.
To work without this tool (widget) is really a disservice to all concerned in the interest of public safety.
