Story Maps and ADA compliance

Question

I work for a local county. I'm assuming that ESRI Story Maps are not compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, but I would like to confirm. Plenty of government agencies are using Story Maps in effective communication strategies. What are other counties and government jurisdictions doing for ADA compliance for their Story Maps? Does ESRI have plans to incorporate ADA features?

City of Sacramento.  We do have an ADA coordinator.

I took a look at the Section508 documentation and forwarded it to our Web Master who is aware of ADA compliance issues.  I suspect we will follow up with our internal ADA coordinator for some recommendations.

My hope is that we can provide interactive web maps (and apps) through the City's web page while being ADA compliant.

I am myself deaf and I do not work in local government but I know that usually most of the local government they may have their ADA coordinator at their office. So, do you have someone that works for ADA coordinator at your office ?

If not, usually the state may have ADA coordinator and they might tell you who works in the county or non-profit organizations that can help you.
