ArcGIS API for Javascript TimeSlider properties - date format

Question

Hi everyone,

would anyone know how to set the TimeSlider widget properties to show only the year on the slider?

As you can see in the picture below, it shows the whole date including the day and the month.

If you are comfortable with JS you can change the label in the updateTimeExtentLabel function under the widget.js

It cannot be done at this release. We will adding capabilities to customize the TimeSlider labels in coming releases.
