Dynamic KML Service

Question

Hi, we have a dynamic KML service loaded into ArcGIS Earth and would like to know how to refresh the layer. Is this done by default? The data will update once every 10 minuets and it would be ideal for users not to have to re-load the KML.#kml service

Hopefully, changing the zoom extent/navigation will refresh the layer.

We have added the KML from a URL - It is a hosted KML. The question is how to refresh the layer automatically in ArcGIS earth. i.e. the client has to be triggered to request the KML on a set interval.

How are you adding the KML? It might be possible only if you are adding the KML layer using a web-URL where the KML gets updated (not from a KML file uploaded from a Desktop location).

Refreshing the layer might be necessary to get the changes in the layer of ArcGIS Earth.
