Trigger Edit popup with the record associated with record in attribute table

I have stacked feature points. Double click from attribute table won't populate the right record in Edit popup table.  It shows the first record of that point first.  It's very confusing.  It is probably too much to ask but it's very crucial for my app because the chance users edit on the wrong record is very likely.  Your help is greatly appreciated!
