Compress tool fails when run on sde SQL Server 2014 database

This error appears every time I run the compress tool on the sde SQL 2014 database:

Does anyone know what this error is or how to fix the error?

Hi Matthew,

It may be helpful to run the Diagnose / Repair Version Tables and Diagnose / Repair Version Metadata tools on the geodatabase.
