Removing duplicate Global ID fields

I have several feature datasets downloaded from a Collector field session that I want to merge to a new map. My merge process fails telling me that the collection contains multiple Global ID fields. I tried turning them off but that did't help. There is no way option to delete them. Anyone have this issue?
