"showAttachments": true does not work with Dynamic operational layers?

Question

Attachments are not displayed in the popup when loaded as a dynamic service layer, but do work when loaded as a feature layer.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Is this because I am loading my services using Adam Drackly's LocalLayerWidget?

Any insight appreciated.

Yes, that's how his widget works. Any attachments are tied to the feature layer (I'm assuming you have related records in a table or something similar). The same thing goes for queries as well. All queries are done on the feature layer.
