ArcMap Files Won't Open

I seem to have maximized the ArcMap screen and now files won't open. I am only given the 'copy' option.

I was in the Catalogue Box and not the Table of Contents. Catalogue box had maximized to full screen and I didn't realize I just had to move it.

Do you mean that you can not see the main menu bar? Have you closed toolbars? Can you provide more detail and possibly a screen shot?
