Will there ever be a collector app for windows OS tablets

Question

Will there ever be a collector app for windows tablets.

I currently have win 8 tablets from Panasonic the have constant upload errors with Arc Mobile for windows.  ESRI keeps saying it is developing collector for windows but no new information is coming out.  Dose this mean that the project has been dropped.  If so please tell us.

Collector for ArcGIS on the Windows 10 platform was released into Windows Store in December 2015, more details in the What’s New In Collector (December 2015) | ArcGIS Blog.

Thanks, Mark.  That's good to hear.

Has anyone heard when it might be released?  We're trying to do some planning so it's important for us to know if it is next week or next year.  Even the expected quarter would help. Thanks.
