Step by step directions when routing?

What happened to the routing widget in 3.x that returned step by step driving directions? I only see a simple routing example in 4.0 that just shows the route on the map but no turn directions

The 4.x API has yet to mirror the 3.x API capabilities. The Directions widget is marked as "Coming Soon"
