How to align the edges of two shapefiles.

It is not a coordinate system problem. I have two parcel shapefiles and the edges are slightly off. Note, that I am a newer student of the software. Is there a method to align the entire shapefile at once?

You can use the Trace tool in Editor Toolbar or the Align features to shape in Advance Editing toolbar. See this link for additional info http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.2/index.html#//01m800000004000000 🙂
