Uploading error to Cloud from ArcCollector

Is there any documentation on uploading errors from ArcCollector to the cloud. Is there any other way to capture the data collected in the field and bring it back to ArcGIS Online? Thank you. One of my colleagues cannot get the app to finish uploading collected data to the cloud. He is stopped about halfway through with an error message each time.
